About the Author |

Kandias Conda is a four-time successful author. Newly released is "Make
a $1000.00 in 35 Days, for Young Entrepreneurs" and is already getting rave reviews
from teachers, schools, students, churches and youth organizations. This book includes
a matrix for the 35 day program, 200 business ideas, a business plan, marketing, legal,
money matters and thousands of resources. Her most popular book, For Teens Who "Think"
They Know Everything has sold over 5,000 copies. This must have self-help guide for
teenagers is a resource that will help teens cope and understand: sex, parents, peer
pressure, self-esteem, entrepreneurship, money management, music, media, teen pregnancy,
hip-hop and much more. The book includes 55 subjects that are easy to read and easy to
find, providing cutting edge information with pictures and journal areas for teens to
express their thoughts.
Kandias is a passionate speaker, author, instructor and life coach in the Chicago area.
She teaches and develops workshops on life skills, entrepreneurship, sports and team
building for thousands of teens and young adults. She taught life skills for five years
to athletes in the Chicago Bulls/Chicago Park District Men and Women's basketball league
and has been the chairperson of the Athletes for Christ Ministry at Trinity United Church
of Christ for ten years. She is a graduate of Southern Illinois University and is currently
pursuing graduate studies at Chicago State University.
Additionally, Kandias is currently the CEO of Young Millionaire/GSW. By day she dawns a cape
as the Director of Youth Conferences and Programs for the Illinois Institute of Entrepreneurship
Education in Chicago. Kandias will begin the Young Millionaire Tour searching the country for 1.000,000
teens and young adults to become financially savvy and business owners.
She was honored in 1995 by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for being the first African American
Woman to manage the women's professional basketball team, the Chicago Twisters of the WBA.
Her client list includes: DCFS transitioning youth, over fifty Chicago Public Schools, Waukegan
Public Schools, Northern Illinois University, Redlands Community College of Oklahoma, Chicago Alternative
Schools Network, Chicago Park Districts, churches, community programs and dozens of non-profit
organizations.
Her first book, Get that Cutie in Commercials, Film and Television was reviewed in Ebony Magazine in
September 2001, followed by her second book, Full Conference Pass. She is the proud parent of a
dynamic college sophomore. She continues to encourage and empower teens and young adults around the
country, one book at a time.
